In this video, we show you how to use a Blackmagic desktop video device with an m1 Mac. Specifically, in this video we are using a Blackmagic Ultrastudio 4k with a M1 Mac Mini. However, this should work with any of the devices listed at the beginning of the video.
In this video, Evan shows you how to get your 5D Mark III working as a webcam with the EOS Webcam Utility, specially the beta. For whatever reason, we could not get the older cameras like the 5D or the 60D working with the non beta version of the webcam utility. If your camera isn’t working with EOS Webcam Utility this video will help you in general. We also have a few other troubleshooting videos that might be helpful as well that we will link below. When they are working this is a great way to get a really high quality webcam feed.
